About Rita Jordan
Rita Jordan is a lifelong Texan and proven leader with more than five decades of business and community service experience. Born in Karnes County, Rita built her career in finance and construction management, serving nearly 40 years at CCC Group, Inc. before becoming Chief Financial Officer of JSR, Inc., where she has overseen operations, contracts, and financial strategy since 2012. She is a Certified Public Accountant with both a BBA in Accounting and an Executive MBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Rita’s expertise in managing multi-million-dollar budgets, contracts, and operations gives her the tools to ensure Karnes County’s resources are handled responsibly. Her long history of community service includes leadership roles with the Otto Kaiser Memorial Hospital Board, the Karnes City ISD Education Foundation, the Karnes County Christian Thrift Center, St. Paul Lutheran Church, Tex-Star Federal Credit Union, and the Karnes City Chamber of Commerce.
Born in Karnes County, Rita raised her two daughters here, both proud graduates of Karnes City High School. Today she is a devoted grandmother to six grandchildren. Her family’s deep roots in the community inspire her commitment to preserving local values and building a stronger future for the next generation.
As County Judge, Rita will put her decades of financial and organizational leadership to work for the people of Karnes County – delivering efficient, transparent, and accountable government that puts taxpayers first.
